Fourth of July: My Trip to Asheville, NC

Hi guys,

I hope y’all had a great food-filled holiday! Fourth of July is the prime opportunity for my family to get together so we always try to make the best out of it. Usually we barbecue at my grandpa’s house in Tennessee, but we decided to have a bit of a change in scenery. Instead, we ventured out to Asheville, North Carolina, and rented a cabin in the mountains. It was a lovely experience and I would absolutely recommend Asheville to anyone who wants to have a quick weekend getaway. I decided to share a synopsis and some of my photos from this brief vacation with y’all so let’s get started:

We were only there for a few days so we didn’t get to do much, but luckily we got to visit a place I’ve been dying to see for quite some time: The Biltmore Estate. I have always taken a particular interest in architecture and real estate so touring this historical house was heaven for me. “House” may be an inappropriate name for it- “castle” seems more suitable. A brief background on the Biltmore Estate…

It is the largest home in the United States at 178,926 sq. feet and 250 rooms. The estate has about 8,000 acres of land, including a rather ethereal garden and a winery. At its largest, it was about 3x the size of D.C. (my shuttle driver told me this). So now that you have some context, without further adieu, here is The Biltmore Estate:
