I am a snacker. I have been my whole life. It’s just become habitual for me to always be munching on something – which is probably not the best. However, there is a way to snack without doing too much damage. In fact, snacking keeps your metabolism flowing and can be quite beneficial if you stick to healthy options. Quick Green Juice Recipe

Hi guys!

I’ve been feeling rather posty lately, so I hope y’all like it. One of my family members is on a juicing diet, (which I wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless you have been medically advised to do so). However, it’s good for a snack/pick me up. I tried the juice that he’s been drinking and it is actually really good. It’s comprised of several vegetables and “superfoods.” Who knew vegetables could actually taste good? So I decided to share with you all a quick recipe for it. It’s great for a morning pick me up 🙂

I Need Some Pizza

Hi Y’all!

I decided that today I’m going to post my first healthy food recipe. Even though I eat healthy most of the time I am still a foodie, and I still have my weaknesses when it comes to junk food. Anyone who knows me, knows that I have a bread weakness. I love bread, and I have absolutely NO self control when it comes to portion control. (I actually ate a whole box of croissants the other day). Pitiful, I know. So being a bread lover, pizza is one of my favorite foods, but it is obviously not very nutritious. So the other day I was sitting around, moping a bit and thinking, “why can’t pizza be healthy?” After doing some internet searching and watching a few YouTube tutorials I figured out how to make pizza from cauliflower. Yes I said cauliflower. The cauliflower serves as the dough in the pizza, so you get to cut out that carb-loaded bread that I love oh so much. I know, that sounds nasty and completely unappealing. But I promise y’all that I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! Cauliflower is basically a superfood so you reap a lot of benefits by incorporating it into your diet. It is a good source of protein, provides detoxification support to your body, and is even proven to contain a compound that kills cancer stem cells. I am a very picky eater myself, so I promise I wouldn’t recommend you anything I don’t think y’all would like too. After trying and incorporating several different sources recipes, here’s my recipe for cauliflower pizza. I think it came out pretty well.
